What's headspace?

Headspace is where all of us headmates live! The headspace is a place where all the headmates live. It’s a pretty complex place with different locations, so we wanted to have a place to organize them all.

All in all, our headspace may look complex from the outside, but it's pretty simple on the inside. It looks like a floating island in the middle of the void, floating in space. It has a semi-sphere barrier that protects it from the rest of the void. It’s completely surrounded by mountains, and it's formed of a meadow, a forest at the west, a lake in the middle, a couple of rivers, a place to grow plants, and a house where all of us live.

All headmates that are not fronting spend their time in headspace. We can only personally access it through meditation techniches if we're in the body.

Locations

  • Main house

    • The main house is pretty big, and constantly has expansions. It doesn't exactly follow the rules of physics, as it's like the TARDIS: It's bigger on the inside than it's on the outside. It has windows and one main floor, but it also has a second floor for an observatory.

    Upon entering, you are met with a living room with furniture and sofas in an L form, a tv, and a fuzzy carpet. Sometimes we have a coffee table, though sometimes it disappears. Connected to the living room in one big area, it's the kitchen.

    In the kitchen there's a counter, a big round table, an oven, a microwave, a thermomix, a dishwasher, and a small washing machine. There's also a fridge that, when you open it, there's the food you want inside.

    In the cabinets there's ingredients for those who like to cook. At the table there's chairs for all headmates and plates and forks and spoons and knives, though we rarely sit down to eat together.

    Outside the kitchen there's a hall that leads to all of our bedrooms or headquarters. It's a long corridor with a door with our name and icon on each door. Each headmate has a door, and each door leads to a room for each of us.

    There's a second floor for an observatory.

  • Hill

    • The mountains surround the whole headspace and separates us from the void. It's pretty uphill, very difficult to climb, made of pure rock. They have snow on its peaks in the winter, and it's generally very cold. They have smaller caves where Nico sometimes goes to live. Some headmates that go dormant also go into the hills.

    Generally the hills are merely for protection from the void.
