Who am I?

My name is Watcher, and I'm an adult alterhuman, awakened on april of 2024. I'm from Europe, and I'm currently studying social education.

I use he/they/it pronouns. I'm nonbinary, genderfaun, and aroace.

What am I?

I'm what some folks may call alterhuman. The term alterhuman is an umbrella term with many various definitions. It may be defined as identities that don't fit the "standard" of what defines humanity, or it may be defined as having an identity that is not strictly human or doesnt fit the normative human identity, among other definitions. Alterhumans may identify as completely non-human (such as an animal, mythological being, or concept), partly non-human, or fully human, but with an identity that does not match their current one (such as a fictional character).

For me, being alterhuman means simply living my life in a nonhuman way, in every sense of the word. Beings like me have their own term, what we in the community like to call holothere, which means that I'm a nonhuman being in every possible way. I'm physically, psychologically, and spiritually a nonhuman being.

Species and identities

I have several kintypes, but for the sake of implicity I'm just gonna list my 'types: Watcherkin (main form: Winged human, other known forms: barn owl), winged catkin (white cat with magpie wings, essentially a hybrid), dog therian (greyhound), a bird therian (Eurasian jay), moonhearted and phantomhearted. I'm also a child of the moon, prey and lab experiment archetrope.

I'm physically a Watcher, which means my body is not human at all. I believe my body is the one of a Watcher, my mind is the one of a dog and my soul is the one of a winged cat. But, what are Watchers? Watchers are beings that are made of the matter of the universe. Internally, they dont have organs, bones, or concrete form. They're made of energy that shows itself in the form of eyes. By analyzing its body, its made of stars, dust, darkness... That is to say, they are made of the universe. They take the form of eyes and wings to fulfil its duties more easily, and so the human mind can comprehend what they are. Their mission is to Watch the world or worlds assigned to them, to make sure they are free of corruption.

Psychologically and spiritually, I'm a winged cat and a greyhound. Both of these identities are very important to me, and they affect me every day of my life. I deal with instincts, urges, and other psychological drives all the time. I think and act like a dog or a winged cat depending on what triggers the urge.

I'm also psychologically and physically an eurasian jay.

What will I use this website for?

Mainly for fun, and for myself! I have a tumblr blog where I post about my day-to-day life as an alterhuman adult, experiences, little stories, and sometimes some art and writings. This website is an attempt of documenting my nonhuman life more professionally.
