Love in the way an animal does

Love in the way an animal loves.

They don't have romantic feelings for you, they don't want to kiss, or cuddle, or go out on dates.

They just want for you to be there when they need it.

And in return, they shall repay that love ten times over.

It's just they way their brains and hearts and feelings love.

Animals like dogs, cats, they love you unconditionally because you give them attention.

You care for them.

You spend time with them.

And in return, they love you back.

That means licking your whole face when they see you.

Bonking their head around your legs.

Sniffing your face right before giving you a million kisses to clean you.

It means tail wagging, dilated pupils, excited panting to cherish you forever.

That's the way it should be. To love, in the way an animal loves.
