I'm also a monster

I'm a cat.

I'm a cat who has wings, who has heart, who has life

I'm my wings, I'm my teeth, I'm my claws

I'm that creature that lurks the night, I'm the heart that leaps through the light

I'm a wild animal. I'm a hunter, I'm a killer

I'm also a pet. I'm a gentle friend who accompanies you through your worst times

I'm a cat. I'm not a cat. I have wings that can lift me in the air

I'm not supposed to exist

I'm a Watcher

I'm a Watcher who has a cape, who has feathers, who has eyes oh so many eyes

I'm my eyes, I'm my cape, I'm my wings

I'm those who watch the Universe

I'm those who hold the stars

I'm those who live through a glass of lost hope

I'm those who see life as a mother, as a way to love and to be

I'm those who see the moon as a guardian, as a way to adore and to see
