Emotional support on humans

I'm an emotional support dog. That's what my roommates says, anyways. An ESA that has tasks to help, to bring assistance to humans and people alike. I'm a working creature, always been, whether I'm a cat, a dog, or an immortal being with wings and eyes.

I always try to bring comfort around me, to those I'm close with, trying my best to see with positive lens the world around me. Because the human world is so full of dispair and sadness and conflict and pain, and I'll always try to see the best in every situation. That's what animals do, anyways.

But don't be fooled, because the human world has also beautiful features and things. All of the inventions they made, all of the art they created, everything they accomplished...

Not everything is good and dandy. Yesterday I was watching the news, and 2024 was the year with most war-open conflicts in the world since the WW2. Even though nowadays we see wars and conflicts in every corner, we know that humans will work their way around them, and solve them and be peaceful again.

My job is to bring happiness. To educate humans in their social interactions, in their homes, in their towns. To be an emotional support dog for the misunderstood corners of society.
