Can't sleep

I can't sleep

Not for the lack of lack of trying

The animal in me is too wild

Too restless

I can't nap

Not having the right mindset ruins me

The beast inside of me is nocturnal

Too unstoppable

It won't sleep

It won't rest

It won't nap

It won't stop

It will bark at the moon

It will purr at the starlight

It will sing at the night sky

But still,

I can't sleep
