#Humanity

Posted on Tumblr on October 12, 2025

I love to see posts, or videos, or weird music, and tagging it as #humanity. Heck yeah I love humanity. Humans are these weird bizarre little creatures that created their own culture, their own little ways to enjoy life. For example:

  • "Oh, we wanted to express our love of nature but we didn't really have the words for it, so we use this tool (an instrument) to convey our view" And now we have music!
  • "We wanted to feed ourselves but just the food is not enough, we want an experience, hence we add spices and sauces" And they created delicious food that goes way beyond the necessary nutrients to survive!
  • "These animals are pretty cute and they love us unconditionally, so we are going to feed them and give them shelter and create little accessories for them, and worship them as gods, because they are so important to us" Pets! Those are pets!
  • "We passed on from generation to generation these moves and rhythm to exercise and to have fun! It's also a way to communicate" And humans started dancing!
  • "We were cold on the winter so we took animal fur and created these neat and beautiful clothes to cover ourselves! And we created patterns for it because why not, it's pretty!" And thus clothes were born!
  • It's just- Gosh. Humans really are these weird little creatures, unique for every other species. There's so many things they do just because, because it's fun, because of cosmetics, because they like it. And they share it among themselves, and they create and express their feelings and emotions, and they write it down, and they create music, and they draw paintings, just to communicate their feelings, their view.

At least in my own point of view, humans are such selfless creatures. They are inherently good, even though sometimes their views clash and wars and conflicts happen, but I don't believe they are evil. They are just... new. They remind me so much of myself, in a way. I'm also new. A new watcher. I get to learn alongside them, because I'm also inexperienced. I love the happiness in the little things.

The little smiles and noises when they are excited. How they share with their family and friends what they love, so that others can also feel that happiness. And isn't that amazing?

I forget, sometimes. Between the stress, the confusion in this human life that I got to live, as I navigate a world that was not meant for me... I forget that I get to live this life too. Sometimes I just sit down and think: I love this. Beyond the fear and the shame and the never ending feeling of not belonging here... I get to build the life I choose to live.
