Human bodies

So many posts of folks hating their human bodies. Okey, yeah, I get it. Even tho I’m physically a Watcher, I can’t fly, I can’t Watch the proper way, I can’t jump through universes, I can’t change my appearance in a blink. My existence limits me and the things I can do. I’m trapped by the rules of this world, this realm.

But think for a minute about what your human body can do. You have fingers and hands to create art. You have feet to grip stuff, to run and walk in mostly any environment. You can survive in all temperatures and climates. You have arms to climb, legs to jump. You can’t fly, but you can swim. You can travel anywhere in a blink.

Teeth to eat meat and vegetables. Organs that let you eat mostly anything, especially foods and goodies that animals can’t eat. Chocolate, garlic, onion, sugar. Cooked and raw food. You can’t get food intoxication that easily. If you get sick, you have meds to help you.

Yeah, being an animal is great. Free with no rules to control you. But in a human life you can control your destiny, and get help if you can’t do it yourself.
